By means of clear explanations, participants learn about the impressive properties of the solar system and the universe. Professionals from the Astroevents association explain the astronomical concepts with the help of easy-to-understand models. In the practical part, interesting information is provided about the constellations, while the stars and planets can be observed through several professional telescopes.
Topic: Jupiter, Moon and Venus in the evening skyOn this evening, the three brightest objects in the night sky will be almost in a line. In spring, Venus becomes the evening star and appears on the western horizon after sunset. At the end of spring, the bright gas giant Jupiter ends its evening visibility. The narrow crescent moon rounds off the spectacle. More distant objects such as gas nebulae and star clusters are also on the observation program.
At the event you will also have the opportunity to take an unforgettable look through the Gurten Observatory
