Gurtner's wine tour is not a classic Wine & Dine, but an event that brings you closer to the fascinating topic of wine with matching dishes in Gurtner's living room in a relaxed way.
Not only will stories be told about the wines brought along, but also anecdotes from everyday life as a winemaker will be shared.

As with a real excursion, this event also involves a journey through the entire restaurant. The scenery changes from the large oak table to Gurtner's library to the crowning finale in the kitchen.

The wine region and the wineries
Abadía Retuerta is a renowned winery in the Spanish region of Castilla y León, near the Ribera del Duero. It was founded in 1996 and combines modern wine production with centuries-old tradition. The winery is located on a historic monastery site dating back to the 12th century and is known for its first-class wines, which are made from the Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The single-vineyard wines in particular reflect the unique terroir. Abadía Retuerta attaches great importance to sustainability and quality and has received several international awards.
